Without our help you might have gone to England some day and exclaimed to a "bobby", "top o' the morning ol' bugger". <<<I note for the record that despite all of the ad hominem attacks on me, Newt Gingrich gave a speech yesterday which basically confirmed virtually all my views of the Lewinsky case that I have posted and been attacked for: He said it wasn't enough by itself to justify impeachment; he said impeachment wastes a huge amount of energy of the public; he said that the GOP was at a disadvantage over spin control because of grand jury confidentiality; he said the House would likely stretch the process out to next year; etc. etc. >>> Unfortunately, you're exuberance will be short-lived. Any politician can gain instant approval points by saying the President won't be impeached IF the Starr report is only about sex. I am sure Mr. Gingrich will appreciate your support at least for the short term. However, I suspect you won't be standing next to him when the report comes out. Let me give you the code for "we won't impeach if it's only about sex." What it really means in politicalese is "when the report comes in these sex things are icing on the cake."
