Pat, thanks for info.I have learnd that in addition to NT, CSCO-Bosch Telecom have also competed with NN for the recently announced contracts.

ATLANTA, Ga. -- June 10, 1998 -- Bosch Telecom, Inc. and Cisco Systems, Inc. have formed an alliance to develop and
market multiservice, broadband wireless networking solutions. These solutions will help service providers deliver
integrated voice, data, and video services faster and more cost-effectively.

Through the alliance, Cisco and Bosch will enable service providers to deploy high value-added services based on
Broadband Wireless (BBWL) technology such as Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS). According to a
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed recently by Bosch Telecom and Cisco Systems, the two companies will
collaborate on joint engineering, product development, marketing, sales, training and customer support. LMDS enables the
delivery of over a gigabit of bandwidth to a large number of customer premises' within a two to five mile radius of the
radio base station. This bandwidth can be used for any mix of integrated voice, data and video applications.

With an LMDS license, a network operator can build a network that eliminates the need for leased line circuits to the
customer premises. Bosch and Cisco will help service providers take advantage of this capability by providing systems that
deliver multiservice access for voice, private line, frame relay, and Internet services. By using wireless technology, service
providers can greatly reduce the cost and provisioning time for new as well as legacy services.

"Cisco Systems and Bosch Telecom have come together around a shared vision with complementary goals and objectives
for creating maximum value in the broadband wireless market," said Ed Cantwell, CEO of Bosch Telecom, Inc. "This
alliance is the critical step in demonstrating our commitment to BBWL as a cost-competitive and timely solution to meet the
needs of new service providers. The alliance is expected to set the standard for emerging market opportunities worldwide
and to provide service providers with a portfolio of very flexible, cost effective platforms for delivery of differentiated
services."

"With Bosch Telecom's leadership in point-to-multipoint broadband wireless solutions and Cisco's leadership in
networking for the Internet, we are well-positioned for market leadership in offering the most complete set of integrated
broadband wireless internetworking solutions and integration services," said Don Listwin, Executive Vice President, Cisco
Systems.

The two companies have worked closely in numerous joint-customer proposals. In addition, Cisco Systems was heavily
involved in the development of a live LMDS environment in the Bosch LMDS Multimedia Dallas Showcase. The Showcase
allows customers to participate in the operations of an active LMDS network first-hand. A sampling of the broad range of
applications includes tele-shopping, telemedicine, distance learning and high speed Internet access. The Showcase features
Bosch's SpectraPoint LMDS broadband RF system platforms and Cisco's Multiservice Networking platforms operating as
a single network, delivering broadband wireless services to multiple customer locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth.
