sorry, I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek. Brinker thought the Asian problems were "gifts from God" to investors in US securities. Of course, I think those gods should have told us to dump general international funds first if they really wanted to make us happy! 8) I wrote Friday that the Feds might have to lower interest rates as you get more money lending to them overnight than going out 30 yrs... suite101.com Further lowering of interest rates could propel the market to even higher multiples hence my understanding of Bob's excitement. Even the Lady Gaz' has said as much and is the reason for her present bullishness (maybe we can forgive her mistake as we forgave others that went to cash only after the "correction of 1987"?) I think she still makes sense - when I agree with her! 8) regards Kirk out
