Just in my other contacts I see a lot more attention being given to Apple. When I posted that note in response to a woman's question about why she should consider a Mac when she got her new laptop, several people responded with thanks and interest and a woman said this morning that she, who'd been using IBM before they made computers, and her husband had been favorably discussing Apple last night. I think that there is so much exposure that a lot of die hard PC users may gradually switch. A lot of the people who responded to my note had no history of being polite to me, and I think they were genuinely grateful to know what makes the Mac different. Some said they'd never seen one! There might be more interest now than when the first Mac said "Hello, I am Macintosh."
