iMac Monitor

RE: "Still the 15" built in monitor isn't very impressive." Jim

Jim, I agree. How does an iMAC with non-Sony 17" monitor & Photoshop LE sound for $1299 in mid Q1 1999?

Slightly enhanced 15" iMac to sell as entry level device for $999 with standard software package.

Apple's iMac component costs are said to be dropping dramatically. Apple is meeting or exceeding all its purchasing milestones with suppliers.

Hal

PS: Also looking for ultra-thin PowerBook with 15" low-power/fast refresh multimedia active matrix screen in Q2 1999. Plug & Play to 17" and 19" desktop monitors at up to 1024x786 resolution & at 24-bit color depth. TV-out. Sounds like a great portable graphics work station or portable sales presentation device. HR
