For areas that don't have a Mac retailer, you have to ask yourself, will people be willing to mail order an iMac or any computer, especially of it's their first one? I think it's a big hurdle to overcome. The 50% that don't own a computer now may not be willing "buy Mac" without close support. < Keith; You make good points. 1) If you need, or know someone who needs an iMac, e-mail me. I can sell/ship you/them one through Tekserve. 2) I'm going to cc your post to AAPL. The AAPL store wont sell iMacs through its excellent Apple Store till October in deference to its channel. However I'm going to suggest they make exceptions for zipcodes such as yours without access to Apple retailers.
