In addition to Mazeman's recommendation of checking-out Fortune, go to your local library and read the issue of Forbes a year (or slightly over) ago in which Cisco is the featured article (and on the cover). It it a long article that gives the history of the company as well as what it does/future plans, etc. What the article says back then still holds. The Forbes article is _very_ informative for a person now interested in CSCO, despite the article's age. BTW, ask the reference person where the books are that reference magazine/newspaper articles. You can determine the exact issue of Forbes by looking up 'Cisco' in these reference books. Lynn P.S. I am getting interested in Dell and would appreciate your imput (but best sent via a private message rather than here on the CSCO thread).
