Richard - I think you're making too much out of something that no longer is an issue. Okay - the XRL money was delayed longer than expected, however, blame it on the govt. and the bureaucracy. They're the ones who had to have all the paperwork in order before they'd send out the money.

As far as XRL being "on target" without DARPA funds - I'm sure it was as of late '97, but in early '98 when DARPA decided to give another contract to JMAR, things got stalled - again, due to lack of proper paperwork from a JMAR supplier. There's nothing JMAR could do about that except wait. Since they knew the DARPA money was eventually coming, they couldn't form any other alliances. If they were NOT to have gotten additional funds, I'm sure they'd have gone ahead with other plans -- but that wasn't necessary.

It just took me 4 mos. to get a simple refund on a medical insurance payment for my mother. I was on the phone at least 20 times trying to straighten out the mess. Sometimes I think there are chimpanzees working in some offices.
