Hi xray it's David:

I wish I had a few extra $$ today - great opportunity to grab some more NIR. My investment horizon with NIR is long term - so the current volatility doesn't bother me that much. I'm buying - not selling - and it's very interesting to see how a stock can be manipulated from up close.

Yes xray - I do think lentils is a jerk. Did you read my post to 'vguy' on the Stockhouse NIR thread? Here's part of it:

SI thinks he's a jerk as well. DBC isn't consistent with his posts - one day he's all for NIR - the next day he wants to nuke it and it's hard to figure him out.

Early on when I first got involved with NIR I was told that folks were playing the stock and riding its up's and down's. I've also posted a few times now that I don' have the skills to play NIR that closely - yet.

Your time horizon is much shorter than mine and I presume that you can play the stock like this and take 'early' profits. I'm long and I'll take my profits at the appropriate time. We'll both come out way ahead - and you'll do it before me - that's the only difference between us.

Q. If Insiders are selling some paper and taking profits now on the $0.25 (or less) paper - therefore reducing the mountain of cheap paper out there - why isn't that a positive thing? Wouldn't it be worse not to sell now - maintain the same level of cheap paper - and sell later when NIR is trading higher? One way or another this paper is going to get sold - there's no avoiding it - but one day (can't predict when) there won't be that much of it left for sale - as it would have all been sold and picked up by buyers at higher prices as Insiders sell and take profits. I foresee somewhat consistent selling by Insiders once we do move to a higher base - but it'll be over an extended period - so as to not drive the base down. If it all came onto the market quickly - then the share price would plunge - much better just to let it trickle out over time.

I'm a buyer of NIR - so the cheaper it gets the better for me - it just enables me to grab more shares.

So good luck to you - NIR will be very good for the both of us - of course I would like to take some profits sooner rather than later - but I can wait - I don't need access to my RSP funds for 30 years which is where the bulk of my NIR sits. In any case we all know what's in the works for Napier - so let's see where NIR is trading in 3-4 months. I think that NIR will continue to be shorted for a good while to come and it's a prefect candidate for that play - with big News releases to come and it's already demonstrated that it can generate strong volume. I also expect more of the 'buy on rumour - sell on news' plays. So I anticipate xray that with NIR's attractiveness to a number of different investment styles - that you'll be with us for some time to come :-)

David :-)
