I don't have much to other than to reiterate what has been published. It was their semiconductor equipment business that has been dragging down the other two divisions. This is not unique, as all semiconductor equipment companies are in a recession. Yes,they do make the best ion implanter, but it will still get hit by the slow down. Varian is a very conservative firm with good financials. This split up should be a plus for us shareholders. The instrumentation and health equipment businesses are quite profitable and have little in common with the semiconductor equipment market place. Rich
