Bill: I just had the opportunity to catch up on today's action and posts. Like you, I have to actually work for awhile - every now and then.
I thought the stock held up nicely under normal market pressures and under continued spurious attack. Unfortunately, it comes with the territory.. often innocent - sometimes malicious, and not just targeting the BBs (I am not making a character judgement here as to the purpose of today's diatribe).
A few weeks back, Ralph "Make'empoora" declares "we're in a Bear market" just 24 hours after he says "we're in a Bull market" and the Market drops 300 points.
There are manipulators with personal agendas out there at every level and the Market falls for their games, EVERYTIME.
As a microcosm of that system, our thread is not immune to such tactics - and never will be. What we DO have is the power to maintain an awareness of just how fragile things can be.
Substantiation vs. Rumor.
Pause before Panic.
This is especially true when investing in young BBs where total debunking is always more difficult sans financial history.
You can almost smell them. The posts are full of venom, the attacks get personal quickly and then trigger personal counter-attacks creating a smoke screen of protection for the perpetrator. The posts are often filled with numerous off-the-wall negative assumptions making it tiring and tiresome to answer in-full. I took the time to answer one of those last week Message 5557190.
This is a high-risk stock. Answers are often not forthcoming simply because they do not yet exist. So we invest in what we know. What I know of the concept behind Financial Intranet and what I have discovered about the management is what keeps me in this stock, through hell and high water.
My suggestion to panic-prone people is to not play stocks.
Panicky people make the best victims.
They should take out an interest-free Municipal Bond instead.
On the other hand, if you're willing to gamble in the Market, FNTN is a pretty damned good hand to hold. I also believe the odds are getting more favorable with each passing hour.

Your friend,
Wally
