Really, you rarely make $ predictions? Then why did you make so many numerous predictions on the yahoo board? All of them very negative as I recall, and all of them wrong, although I may be incorrect here - make enough predictions and you're bound to be right sometimes, sooner or later.
I agree that GMGC will be under pressure for awhile, due to no news and due to bad market. But I think you are all wet with your analysis. Do you think the major investors backed a firm that had no way to make money? I suspect their analysis was far more thorough and informed than yours, given the millions of dollars of their money on the line. I've been in that position, trying to raise money for technical ventures. Investors go through EVERYTHING with the proverbial fine-tooth comb. The plan has to be rock solid.
Usage and price of the service - it only makes sense for a certain demographic. On-the-go road warriors with lots of dollars to spend on a terrible communication problem. In short, people like me. Obviously if you aren't in this group, then the service has little cost advantage and makes little sense. |
