Hi Jim . . . my gut feeling is that you are correct on this point; I have made the argument before, not based on short-term technicals but rather on broad-based market dynamics . . . the more people expect (and desire) big moves the more likely the market is to take their money by going nowhere.

The market always finds a way to move money from weak hands to strong ones.
