um, look - I have no bone to pick with both yourself and Paul. Matter of fact, I even agree that the market hasnt finished its correction although I tend to look for this to happen over the next 6 months and I doubt it will fall below 8000 if it even comes close.

That said - Im having trouble understanding this 'money on vacation' opinion. If im on vacation, and the market sheds 2-300 points and I can still sell at a profit? I could care a less WHERE I am, I would sell a portion of my portfolio. My opinion is this has already happened in anticipation of all the b.s. going on in Russia, not to mention Japan and the rest of the ailing world. We are now trading sideways and the equities are in strong hands with a TON of cash on the sidelines waiting to pounce on issues like NOVL when the time is right.

Paul, again- no disrespect but I must remind folks that last year about this time you were VERY vocal about the situation in Asia.. I need to go back over those posts and remind myself of the outrageous predictions that just never came true. TA people feel the market will follow their calculations to a 't'. People who play the story stocks based on fundamentals get too emotional and refuse to take a loss straight down to zero. This is a day by day game and I really doubt that anyone - wether its tom, elaine, ralph, or any other well respected analyst is giving us more than a 50/50 when making a prediction.

oh- by the way, I sold my NOVL this morning at 11 1/4 thanks to you and your gloom and doom. I have my own beliefs but I have a bad habbit of keeping things I read here in the back of my mind. Its hard to invest when 90% of my money is made trading. Now ill be stuck buying on a gap tomorrow for 11 3/4. Maybe ill invest some cash in Russia! (joking of course)
