I just gotta vent on this topic!! First let me start out by saying that I am not a democrat or a republican. I vote for whoever best represents my stance on the issues. I did vote for Clinton and think he has done an excellent job as president. Is he a liar? Da, he's a politician, they are paid to be good at lying. Show me a good politician that doesn't use double speak. Regan, Bush even honest Abe had to stretch the truth and make a deal here and there. The republicans have sunk to an all time political low in their never-ending attempt to get Clinton. They were unable to field anyone that could compete against Clinton on the issues so their only choice is to cloud the issues with "Scandals". They couldn't get him for anything concrete and meaningful so it has come down to Clinton lying about his sex life. Something that anyone in the same position would do. To all the self righteous people out there that say that Clinton had no business having sex with a "Younger woman" I say, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." Monica was an adult and she made the choice. Maybe this was a mark on her bedpost not Clinton's. Wouldn't most people have washed the dress?? Given the right situation anyone is capable of cheating. That doesn't make it right but a person in a position of power whether it be an actor, rock star, sports star or politician is going to be tempted more than any normal joe. Perhaps we should be like the Catholic church and require our presidents to be single and celibate. Or maybe we should just elect old guys like Bush that don't know what a scanner in a check out line at a grocery store is. That would be progressive!! This "Scandal" should have never been made public. This was a private matter that should have been kept between President Clinton and his wife. Tripp who was supposed to be a friend of Monicas is a rat fink. She was acting like a jealous school girl. As far as this being the worse scandals ever. Ba humbug!! The Iran/Contra arms for hostages set a dangerous national precedent for trading for hostages. That will hurt this country far worse than if every president from now until the end of time gets a Bl*w J^b or two in office. This gutter politics is just going to get worse and worse if we don't stop this Cr^p now!! Let's get back to the issues and leave peoples sex lives on the not of our business list. It is sad that the press is so mentally lazy that they can't find something better to cover.
