No Jack, no difference, the inquarts are used in the "collection" process, when the goodies are "collected" into another molten metal (here copper) or in essence, smelted. That is why I did not understand Ed's reference to using inquarts in the leaching process, it will have very little impact there unless the leaching results in metallic goodies, and even then, I doubt that it would be useful.

Ed speaks with "authority" and I think that he should check his facts more religiously, you know Twain's saying, you need not have a good memory if ..., when I get a stream of bread crumbs to follow, I must make sure that they lead to the "pot of gold".

One of the major problems I had with CL on the old IPMCF thread, was that his story about the process changed every week, it is quite possible that every time he simply invented some "facts", but because of his poor memory, he could not see when he created major contradictions. I do not want us to develop here a similar syndrome.
