MICRON ELECTRONICS, INC. REPORTS FIRST FISCAL QUARTER RESULTS
NAMPA, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 16, 1996--Micron Electronics, Inc.
(the "Company") today reported results of its consolidated operations
for its first quarter of fiscal 1997 ended November 28, 1996. The
Company's net income for the first quarter of fiscal 1997 was $24.8
million, or $0.27 per share, on net sales of $421.0 million, compared to net income of $16.6 million, or $0.18 per share, on net sales of $438.6 million for the corresponding period in 1996 and $26.4 million, or $0.29 per share, on net sales of $457.4 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 1996. |
