I bought a Micron 333 last Feb. but I had a lot of trouble getting it to work. It went back 4 times just so it would read my RAM right. I went to the max 384 Meg and it would not read beyond 96 or 32 per module. Granted I do have NT 4.0 but they replaced the mother board twice -- a little excessive. I would be very leery about trying that again.

I do understand MUEI is more customer oriented now, but it was not good for public relations. Gateway has given a friend of mine no trouble -- 400 MHz, with large drive and 128 Meg of RAM, also running NT. But it is only one story; just get the extended warranty -- I did do that.
