All those that know me know that I do care about people getting hurt by unscrupulous hypesters. 5 months of work on SI to prove it. The point I am trying to make tonight is fairly simple. Here's the truth: it was obvious. The truth sometimes hurts. I have said many times before that I think most people writing on SI (or simply reading SI) are smart and they have learned from the MTEI fiasco. Being reminded of what happened is only going to help, not hurt.
