Sonki. Glad to hear you were getting a smile out of my post. Smiles are not easy to come by lately in this market unless you favor a volatile market to pick up bargains. I reduced my margin on Friday to have money ready when the market really takes off again. I would like to wait though until Mr. Crawford's time of doom. has passed. After Labor Day I think. Who knows if those stargazers will listen to Mr. Crawford. Up to 50% down would give me plenty of things to buy with my available margin. Ugh, this sounds ugly (including taking more margin on again, gg )and I don't really believe anything like this could happen. But I have heard of stranger things. gg. Enough of this stargazing thing. Could make your skin crawl though. gg. Anyhow, I am sitting on pins and needles to put my available margin to work again. My number 1 buy will be CPQ since I am void of that one since last Friday. Could not think of much else to sell in quantity. Margaret is going to hate me but I was hoping for a drop in CPQ when the market was at its worst on Friday. I got fooled and may have to pick it up at the same price, maybe a bit higher, if the market keeps going up.

Here is an interesting article about LU. Intel is mentioned in it.

WLA did well today even though it did a lot of see sawing. How about Mrk? It should be booming come fall.

I had my stepdaughter and the grandchildren here from Seattle. We travelled around a bit and did the sightseeing routine.

Japan market looked pretty good in the early session. I have not checked the later one. Yeah, Russia and now maybe Latin America don't look too great if you listen to all that talk. I was surprised to hear those upgrades on those big banks today. I sold my JPM on Friday. Hm, could get nasty also if everybody devalues. I would rather own banks with less international exposures, but what do I know. gg. If JPM gets taken over, you will hear me scream all the way to CA now that I am out of it.

I will add another article here. Interesting also unless you read it already. gg.
