Remember the three day rule: it is tough to suck fools into a stock for more than 3 days in a row because something called "the desire to take a profit" will always overcome some people. Then fear sets in and sometimes leads to panic when investors suddenly realize that the stock is not going straight up.

Where have I seen this before?
