Everyone:
If the recession in the semi industry continues through 1999 and LSI
loses .50/share for fy 1999 how low could the stock price go ? What
type of things should one look for to ascertain if LSI is a viable
competitor over the next ten (five ?) years. How can RS put out a strong
buy on MU when nobody on Wall Street that I know of is forecasting
a profitable year until 2000 at the earliest ? MU would appear to be
at a much greater risk of perishing than LSI yet the Street prefers to
hold MU versus LSI. Wall Street seems to have placed either very little or no value on the hundreds of millions of R&D dollars spent by LSI over the past three years. Random thoughts from a chagrined LSI
long term bull.
