Don't hang on with the losers, hoping for a rebound. Remember that to recover from a 50% loss there must be a gain of 100%, for 69% loss like today there must be a whopping more than 300%; and the market won't wait for. There are a lot of day traders out there who'll be very happy with a return of 5-10%. The hardest part in trading is to materialize the loss and get out of it. Don't ever blame the shorts, without them the market would have fluctuated more wildly.
