Cliff,

As rude as I've been to you, I agree with Bulls. We need people to keep stirring the pot.

Regarding your question about why people would want FNTN to set up their intranet, I think your a little off base on what FNTN is selling.

M. Sheppard explained that they are primarily in the business of selling telecommunication services and financial information. They are trying to market a new level of data (namely video-on-demand) to the financial services industry, and to other industries such as insurance.

They are not, primarily, selling their intranet consulting services. In other words, it is my impression that they do not want to go to Company A and set up Company A's intranet.

They want to target specific industries that are highly dependent on data (such as financial services and insurance) and set up one giant intranet that all subscribers in that industry can access.

Sheppard said the closest existing competitors are companies such as Bloombergs, Reuters and Smith Barney. However, these companies only provide static text. They do not provide video.

Maybe, where your expertise is you can help us (the SI group) determine what the current video streaming technologies are and what their limitations are.

For example, MS mentioned that you can now go to ESPN or CNN and download video-on-demand. However, at 28.8 or even 33.6, it takes several minutes. This is impractical. MS claims that with FNTN's proprietary software and with the correct configuration of video pump, switches, and com lines, you will be able to download video-on-demand in a much more reasonable time.
