--->We have heard the largest and most active joint venture in the United States is seeing yields of up to 70 percent on 64-Mb DRAMs before laser repair. After laser repair, yields rocket to over 90 percent.

This follows what sources have told me about Samsung, and at times Hyundai. With MU having yields of 50% or less on the .21 (at probe) and near the same at probe-to-ship is does not bid well for the immediate future. You cannot say, truthfully, your costs are being cut by smaller die size when the yield produces less usable product to ship to customers.
