I noticed that you think Lucretius is Hitler. So I'm not paying too much credence to your thoughts. The issue is when to initiate the short, which information to pay attention to and not and when to close the position. Only real time practice makes perfect. It's just not the same when there's no money at stake. At least that's the way it is for me. Last time I lost so little not because I didn't put anything down but because I got almost all of it back. I folded fast enough when I saw I was wrong and came back in again at the right point.
