Ron, yes, you are right, Europe has the Euro and Y2000 problems to contend with. It looks like all the pegs will be gone from the market by then. What is going to say that HLIT cannot sell for less than a p/sales of 1,and p/book of 2 by then. The only thing that may boost these stocks is a buyout where someone values a company for what it is really worth. HLIT is worth $30/share,a bid would have to be in the mid to high 20's.
CIEN hurt HLIT,they both are followed by the same analysts,and use the same supplier UNPH. It is down in the sympathy that CIEN was crushed with,which was erroneous to start with. But in bear markets,nothing looks good.
