Jon-

Millions of shares were purchased and delivered by brokerages in the form of naked shorts (i.e. demand was filled with make believe supply). Now that people are asking for delivery of their shares nobody can find any to deliver. There are between 5,000,000 and 9,000,000 shares sold short (NAKED) and only continued foul play will keep the lid from exploding off of this accident waiting to happen.

This, incidentally, is where the SEC should be focusing its efforts. Enough criminal activity went into driving Solv-Ex into bankruptcy to keep Ken Starr busy for another 5 years. No I'm not referring to Rendall's or Campbell's activity....

Mark- Great post. Your assessment is why I continued adding to my position as the stock tanked. Why Solv-Ex was valued different from most any other related concern is simply because of the huge short position and their inability to cover at ANY price.

Now what are they going to do??????????????????????????
Will the wonderful, hard-working, protectors of the public at the SEC be watching as the shorts try to weasel out of it again?

David
