I got information today confirming your posts: Orckit got 60 % of the contract. ECI and Siemens share the remaining.

Than my first source was right and my second was wrong. Earlier I'd said ORCTF would be number one, then later said it looked as though ECI, depending on which source was correct. I like the outcome.

Next action is within FT. Think ORCTF is going to bid with real big partners.

Fujitsu, perhaps?

Interesting that also german's alternative operators are starting to evaluate unbundeled ADSL services.

I've follwed the rate squabbles, too. Looks as though the contenders are all in the ring. :)
