Well, James, the 3 million shares will have to be sold in Sept?/Oct?/Nov? See, Vinik and the other 6 do not have control over the 3 million shares. They will have to buy those shares at $140, or they will have to unload before the 3 million shares! Or they will try to borrow and "short" the 3 million shares. What else can they do?? a. force the remaining shorts to buy them? b. entice the small-retailers?? c. none of the above?
