<While "Internet capable", Office 2000 seems to only work with Microsoft tools, atleast according to the reviews I read. That's hardly open and "Internet capable" if it can only communicate with Windows machines.> Office 2000 output will work with any html 3.2 compliant browser. The interactive components only work on Windows machines. Why you as a non-windows programmer may not think it is open, the 92% of the personal computing population out there that happen to be on Windows will disagree with you.
