NEWS FOR ALL: Michael Dell is not solely responsible for all of the successes of DELL.

Gary, I have never debated this fact. You want to have someone else's argument with me, rather than dealing in the points that I have brought up to you.

Yes, Mr. Dell did have the idea. Yes, Mr. Dell continues to have good ideas. And, yes, Mr. Dell and his Board of Directors have had the wisdom to realize that it takes a solid management team to make it all work, not just one man.

You throw satirical statements like Dell is going to be the only PC maker in two years at me, rather than answer my question about how DELL's competitors are going to turn their businesses around to compete with DELL.

You say satirical comments suggesting that Compaq's management is made up of dumb people, rather than answer my question about why these people (that you claimed were smart in a previous post) have failed to assimilate the direct model as they had indicated they were trying to do.

Do you have any facts, or are you just one of those guys who feels that DELL is overpriced just because you picked up a chart last week and made that predetermination?

What is the answer? We'd all like to know!

LoD
