I would believe that Milberg-Weiss withdrew representation for the class-action once they had formally determined that the eventual payoff in the event of a successful litigation would be too small for a firm of their stature. They will continue to pursue bigger fish while allowing this litigation to trickle down to less prominent class-action legal firms. They are profit oriented and there is not enough money to be made through a litigation against CCSI. It's that simple!

Keep in mind though, if some of the postings here are legitimate (and I believe many are), then the staff at CCSI was negligent in its obligation to the shareholders. There are too many postings of people here who have spoken with either Darby or Jennifer and gotten estimates of when the deal would be done, and one has to believe that this has happened on at least several occasions. This dissemination of information should have and could have been handled through periodic press releases, and should never have been disclosed through random phone conversations. This type of activity more often than not proves to be detrimental to stockholders of the company and generally leads to some sort of legal action or SEC penalty, more likely the latter. Personally, I believe that CCSI will avoid legal action by their stockholders only if the deal remains in negotiation and they are eventually forced into bankruptcy. Should CCSI finally do something concrete to generate revenues (get the deal done -LOL- or break into other applications for the product), then the legal firms are lined up in position to collect for themselves first and then their plaintiffs.

Apparently SPRX is out there getting publicity with the American public. While hobnobbing with the medical community is important, it is equally important to get brand recognition with the public! Does anyone remember BETA vs. VHS? Sony was pumping the professional community with the virtues of their technically superior product (BETA) while Matsushita (VHS) quietly provided the public what they wanted, a much larger selection of movie titles to go with the player. Who won that battle? The one that went after the American public.
