First, this stock will not see above 7 for some time. Second, volatility may end up decreasing. This works against the covered CALL writer. Third, there is that company that is financing Informix's cash flow through convertible preferred and associated warrants that is IMO anxious to sell. I do not think he saw this as a longer term investment on his part. His cost basis is very low, so I would not be surprised if he has been selling. I think his holdings would still represent a significant amount of shares in terms of the daily volume of this stock. But I have not checked up on this, so if anyone has different but current information please speak up. I also think the low price of IFMX stock can have an adverse effect on Informix financing its cash flow through the exersizing of additional warrants by this third party. This needs to be considered

When this stock broke down so quickly past its recent bottom, this told me that there is no one stepping up to purchase this stock, including the normal group of speculators that follow this stock. Also that bottom will become resistance for the interim. The sellers will continue to be in control of this stock for the short term. I will look at the chart at the end of today. I have just put together a new PC that I am using now that still has a few "glitches" to work out.
