I did some quick figuring, but 25.73/bbl * 5700/bbls/day * 90 days = 13.2 millon revenues on oil. That is an increase of 2.4 millon. That is an 80% increase in net over 3Q 96(before natural gas is added in). If I were Clayton I might lock in some of this for 1Q 97. I was concerned about some cost of the 3D survey, but with oil at these prices CWEI can pay for it in cash 1Q 97 and still have enough revenues left over to match last years performance. One or two good wells in cotton valley could result in this stock doubling and still keeping a low P/E. I just hope for more visibility on the street for CWEI so it can realize its full potential.
