I have no relationship with PII team now so I do not have any inside info. My personal oppinion is OEMs and box vendors are going to take whatever Intel gave them (no overclock) and Intel is going to phase out PII300 and below (0.35 parts). Celeron FSB is still 66 so there is the differentiation in performance. I think this is still the mass majority of the market. Just saw a news yesterday that Compaq already have a 5050(?) out that uses the Celeron 333Mhz part.

IMHO, Celeron300+ and Xeon is going to be proved as the most important products for Intel for the last 1-2 years. It means that Intel has made great progress into the segmentation model.
