Dan, I was doing the field engineering work on the Murrells Inlet mall at the time of Hugo. After Hugo,I went into business for myself, repairing beach house's in Garden City. Had to pass through National Guard checkpoints going in and out. There was a major looting problem after and during the storm,special pass just to work down there. 6 months later moved back to God's country<g>..DD
PS: luckily my fridge was empty and road the storm out at a local bar,plenty of ice and a generator-good thing was there for 3 days<rofl!!>
