Melissa, Im in the process of inventing a new language.... What I was trying to say (not very effectively I might add), is that there is a kind of NEW space emerging which is in between front office and back office. SCM is like that - it balances demand with mfg with the demand planner product. So it sort of sits between demand (orders) and supply (mfg) - that is the demand/supply continuum. So, with an integrated SFA product, Baan and Sap will be able to offer more to the customer than if a customer went out and bought Sebl and Psft separately. The integration wont be there. But with this alliance, that type of functionality becomes possible. Remeber TD and I shared a few msgs regarding this topic on the Vntv thread when Vntv bought Wayfarer (which is another method to communicate between front office and back office). MH PS the strength of Dell in this mkt is mind boggling
