Actually, Cool Hand is slightly off on this.

The Short interest numbers are posted from the 15th of each month. The figures you quote are thru July 15.

The August 15 figure just came out and will be on ViWes tomorrow. Short Interest in Newcom as of August 15 is 1,119,748 shares. Enjoy the ride, longs!
