You were correct in anticipating a dip into the single digits before an announcement. I definately have mixed feelings about the big drop today. You hate to see the price of a good stock fall, but at the same time, it presents an opportunity to pick up a few more shares at a discount. If I put on my long-term investor hat, I say "buy now, in a couple months AXC may be a double!!". On the other hand, it was interesting to see the earlier post regarding the Ampex shutdown during the weeks of Christmas and New Years. IMO this creates a greater likelihood that if we don't hear an announcement by the end of this week, nothing will happen until after the new year. We may see bargain basement prices on AXC during that time.
I am considering buying some April calls.
Also, thanks for your posts, and while I am at it, the posts from Gus, who is a very busy person posting on both the SI & Fool boards!
