Richaaard - At the annual meeting they said they were to meet certain goals which include building and testing x-ray sources of increasing power (from 30-watt to 90-watt), plus collimator development. By the way, in reading over my notes, the DARPA contract was awarded on 12/19/1997, but due to the complexities of the deal, it took till July to get the paperwork done. (I should have read my notes sooner. It might have eliminated some of the questions on your part.) This is a multi-fiscal year contract, with the goals expected to be met in the next two years.

Hope that answers your questions.

Betty
