Jim, Many folks consider TA to be like driving down the road looking into your rear view mirror...It only tells you what has happened...There is an excellent book by Malkei(SP?) called, A Random Walk...which suggests that there is virtually a zero correlation between TA and predictability of stock pricing. I prefer fundamental top down research. MINI fundamentals continue to improve. They have no exposure to Asia. I expect two excellent quarters and feel pretty good about the next six...Unlike another Tech stock I frequently post on, you have virtually zero chance of waking up to some major earnings debacle here. I spoke to the company today and all is well.
