CFON: It depends where you try it. For an outright short at online brokers you usually need a bid at $5 or more, although it is allowed at > $4. This is only for naz stock. NYSE and AMEX do not have this requirement. If the bid is over 5 Datek is usually fast with clearing NM flag, I tried it on ENML today and it worked. Christian
