There you are Tom, our first dividend. Check it out Ramsey - no more political BS, [I've persuaded enough people now]. I've been a Qualcomm investor since June 94 and waiting to buy since August 1991, so at last, a dividend. Sort of anyway.

These urls are a bit tricky sometimes. I had to find the piece at the end "...Archives/edgar/data/1065049/0000936392-98-001200.txt" from the body of the report to the Securities and Exchange Commission because the -001200.txt doesn't appear in blue when I past it into my post. Anyone who copies it will need to add that bit.

Okay folks, that's the start of LEAP! Dive, or Leap, into that document, I warn you it is very long and you will not read every word. I think it was 27 September they have to hand over the stock, 1:4 of Leap to the Qualcomm shareholders.

And Jon, we can LEAP for joy! Nothing wrong with the name say I.

PS: Dougjn, do you suggest the USA level all of South Africa because of the bombing in Cafe Hollywood or whatever? Apparently the Cafe Hollywood bombing was in response to the Sudan or Afghan, or both, cruisings by USA. Now Madeleine and Bill have advised Il Presidenti Ghaddafi that the trial of the accused Lockerbie Pan Am bombers is to take place in Den Hague with a Scottish judge presiding. She said it wasn't for negotiation. Oh dear! I bet Colonel G. got a fright and he will be scrambling now. She is obviously going to drill him in one or two days if he doesn't hand them over forthwith. This IS getting interesting.

Yvonne Fletcher died on the street in London when some Libyan criminals shot her from the window of their embassy during a demonstration. Yvonne was a police constable. As you might know, British Bobbies are by and large decent people. Tony Blair will no doubt support Bill and Madeleine. This is official New Zealand approval for the trial to take place in Den Hague and for Ghaddafi to have 24 hours to hand them over.

There was an air raid on Libya by F111s from UK at which time Ghaddafi's allegedly adopted daughter [aged 15 months or so] was killed. No doubt partly in retribution for Libya's association with Lockerbie and Yvonne. I guess it might heat up again.

Not too good when planes full of civilians and 15 month children are collateral damage. Roll on a real UN. Meanwhile Ghaddafi, stand and deliver. He will be feeling very nervous. I think Saddam Hussein will be feeling a bit nervous too, though he loves being the centre of attention, even if it does involve a lot of explosions.

Damn, sorry Ramsey - it was going to be no more politics, but like Bill C, I just couldn't help myself.
