jmac - Cody was in and out of intc shorting and covering in a day. While filling the downside gap seems most illogical, my experience and gut tells me that it will be filled. Maybe its an intel hiccup or maybe its the market in general or maybe a combination. When MU went from 10 to 90 it created a gap and 30 - no one thought it would be filled - yet it was. Intc is no mu, its products are not commodities and its mgmt team is superb, yet my experience continues to tell me the gap will be filled. One of the few things that would convince me otherwise would be considerable insider buying - its not there. Gary
