Personally, I always thought that there were shenanigans but that they ended before the 90's, and that Microsoft's latter sins were just those that arose from its not taking its monopoly position seriously.

But this is the sort of thing where you have to step back and say "Let's wait until we see the evidence." It's not fair to Microsoft and their employees to harp on this yet.

If its true, I have several friends at Microsoft who are going to feel utterly betrayed and lied to. Microsofties on this board are also going feel very upset. Conspiring to crash software goes way beyond any notion of ethical business practices. If its not true, then Red Herring and the DOJ are slandering Microsoft (though not in the legal sense).
