If investors would see a repayment in rubbles I have seen that over a period of one or two days they would certainly realize that best way to hedge rubble is to put them to work in a market which on valuation one of the cheapest in the world-- it is the potential of returns in worthless currency they are worried about why not to invest in commodity rich Russian stock market companies and hedge your exposure I would see that this rubble fall will be associated with strength in equity markets that in a way would help the rubble as flight of capital may slightly be slowed as people take stock of their situation and realise that best way may be to keep their money in for long haul. This is one possibilitiy if I had some funds over their, this is what we did in countries where we had similar problems buy the markets at cheap and stay put come out when storm has subsided.
