Check out the 100 day chart for CMVT on S.I.: www3.techstocks.com Note that the yellow line represents the relative NASDAQ composite. In my limited knowledge of Technical Analysis, it looks to me like Comverse common stock trades approximately in line with the NASDAQ composite index -- except that the BETA of Comverse is higher than that of the index. That is, CMVT is more volatile than the NASDAQ index. Note how Comverse's positive swings surpass the upside moves of the index; and the negative CMVT swings are more severe than the downside moves of the index.
