" It was then that he realized what made this spike-heeled beauty seem so familiar. Those breasts! At first he tried to pretend it wasn't true, but there was no denying the aquiline curve to the left breast...which smelled of vanilla.

Holmes approached Emily. Emily hit him in the head with her bag. "You're crazy," she said. Homes fell to his knees. His head touched the street. His butt was up in the air. With her left foot Emily kicked his bum with the heel of her red leather boot. She swiveled around on her right foot... And she looked directly into the eyes of another man..
You!!!!!...You...Alex!!! ."She wrapped her arms around his slender shoulders. She pressed her body against his. His lips found hers. While they held each other, she thought about the first time she had met him.
She was getting into her car when Alex tapped her on the shoulder. He waved a city map in front of Emily's face. He told Emily that he wanted, " pizza."
Emily's stomach made funny growling sounds.
Alex released her,"Food?"
She nodded. He put his arm around her shoulders. They walked away from the bus station. Emily forgot that she was upset. She laughed. She told Alex she thought he was a wierdo when he pointed at a map and said, "pizza"...
Emily got Alex his pizza.. Alex said the pizza tasted, "well different!' He hurt Emily's feelings because the fresh mushroom,, sausage, olive and tomato was her favorite.
Emily munched. She had told Alex. "The crust is sooo good. They make it right here!!!!
Alex wanted to talk. He said that he was not very hungry.. He told Emily he was a university student. He bragged! Math was easy! And so was science! He told Emily he was familiar with the theories about human evolution. What really intrigued him was history. Humans are born to fight and to kill one another. They've always done it! They are greedy bastards! They want power! They crave wealth! Human desires are so strong that they would destroy the planet to get what they want!
Emily listened. She pulled melted cheese off her chin. She was hungry. She did not want to argue.
Emily ate most of the pizza cuz Alex wanted to talk. He said, "humans were so weird. You can't trust them! You can't predict what they will do!
.. Why?
Alex told Emily he believed that if he carefully observed human behavior, he could learn why humans acted the way the way they did.
Emily thought Alex was a bit arrogant but she thought he was sexy. Anyway, his arrogance was not uncommon for a man.
However, Emily was taken aback when Alix brought up his past. Her blue eyes turned into half dollars when Alex told her that he was created in a test tube on a distant star. His creators put him in a human body and sent him to Earth. They wanted him to study human behavior. Emily was the first human that Alex had met and liked.
Emily burped and patted her stomach. Normally, she would never have picked up a guy like Alex. But she was drawn to him. Since she couldn't figure out why she liked him so much, she didn't interrupt Alex. She listened and sipped her beer.
Alex told her that he never made it to the university. B4 he found his dorm, he had had a terrible experience.
He said that he had been standing at the entrance of a drug store while he studied his city map. Suddenly, a man rushed through the automatic exit, turned and knocked the map out of Alex's hands.The man carried a small box covered with the words, "use Country Condoms for A Continuous Well-Come.
The man, a shoplifter, ran into a lady who stood on the curb. He shoved her into the street. A car hit her. The driver stopped the car. Alex ran over to the woman who lay on the pavement. She moaned. Blood trickled down her face The driver stayed in the car. She poked her head through the sunroof and told, Alex that he had better move out of her way. Alex picked up the injured woman. The woman in the car sped off. Others stopped their cars. Soon a crowd formed around Alex who carried the injured woman.
Alex placed the moaning woman on the street. He covered her with his jacket. "Move back," he told the crowd. They ignored him. The people at the back pushed so hard that the people close to the woman trod on her. Alex tried to push the crowd away from her. Someone snapped a picture. The flash blinded him. The crowd sensed his disadvantage. So they pulled and tugged at him until they pushed him to the rear. He covered his ears with his hands because the police and ambulance sirens were so loud. He was lost. He could not see where he was going because the flashing lights on the cars were so bright.
Later, a witness told the police that Alex disappeared "into thin air"
The next day Alex saw a picture of the driver that hit the woman. Her picture was on the front page of a newspaper. Underneath her picture was a caption that said Congress Woman, Ms. Just Ask Me reasserts her belief that the city must hire more police to patrol the streets.
Alex told Emily that after his experience with Ms. Just Ask Me and the human mob he was so sad he was unable to make contact with another human until...he saw Emily, showed her his map and asked for pizza..
Emily looked into Alex's eyes. She said, "I'm sorry I stood you up yesterday. But life has been UNREAL The day after I met you, I met a dwarf. He gave me a bag of frozen chicken breasts. And he chased me into the bus station. I was so scared I hopped onto the first bus I could find."
Alex, how did you know I was here?
Emily, Alex said proudly, I can travel through time and space on my own. I don't need a car.
"Oh!", Emily exclaimed.
Emily, I want you to know that I have other talents as well. I know how people feel. I sense their moods. What I don't know is why they act the way they do.....
Emily patted Alex on the back and said," Alex, you are an arrogant alien! You've got good vibes. And I feel good when I'm with you."
