KAA, I can understand your position. I have another question just to make sure one thing about settlement date for preferred stock. From Aug 18 news, company announced: One preferred share will be issued for every 10 common shares held on the record date of Sept. 1, 1998. As far as I know, there is a 3-4 day (I forget how many days) of settlement date. My question is can I buy this stock at September 1,1998 to get divs? Or I have to buy or have it before September 1, 1998? MM
